Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve heat-absorbing and heat-insulating properties of the collector by forming the collector of composite material comprizing specified powder and material for ceramics and by making a number of piercing holes therein.
CONSTITUTION: The heat collector 1 is constituted by the composite material prepared by mixing at least one kind or more of powder out of the powder of metalic oxide such as, for instance, oxidized steel, the powder of silundum or the powder of metalic silicon with the material for ceramics and is made to be the shape of a pipe by forming a number of piercing holes 2 in the axial direction thereof. The powder ranging from 5wt% or more to 50wt% or less being mixed, the composite material is molded by the method of extrusion and burnt in the range of temperature of 1,000W1,400°C to be of a honeycomb structure, while the size and form of the piercing holes 2 and the thickness of a partition wall are selected freely. In the case when the heat collector 1 is employed in a series type, a plurality of the heat collectors 11, 12... are connected by U-shaped connecting pipes 3, water is let to flow from the side of a flow-in port, heated and taken out from the side of a flow-out port. The heat collector can also be used in a parallel type.
