Abstract
PURPOSE: To control the fine flow rate at a high accuracy by regulating the flow rate of a fluid utilizing the transmitting nature of a porous ceramic filter provided on either a through hole or a plug of a regulation valve designed to open or close the through hole in a sheet ring with the plug.
CONSTITUTION: A plug 8 is provided at the lower end thereof with a cylindrical ceramic filter 11 having an outer diameter almost equal to the inner diameter of a through hole in a sheet ring 1. When a valve is opened 12, a fluid flows through the ceramic filter 11. A sheet surface 10 of the plug 10 adheres to the sheet surface 6 of the sheet ring to close the through hole 7 when the valve is closed. As the stroke of the plug 8 is proportional to the area exposed above the through hole 7 in the ceramic filter 11, the linear characteristic can be obtained in the fluid to be controlled thereby enabling highly accurate control of the fine flow rate of the fluid.
