Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily change the range of flow control, by using a simple mechanism of taking out or putting a plug from or in a control valve from outside.
CONSTITUTION: When the degree of valve opening is zero, the sheet face 27 of a reciprocating member 25 comes in close contact with the sheet face 23 of a sheet ring 5 and the opening end of a hole 28 of port unit 25a is closely engaged with the straight portion of a bar plug 20, and accordingly fluid in a chamber 6 is prevented from flowing in a chamber 7. When the valve is open, the said reciprocating member 25 is lifted by an actuator to produce an annular clearance between the characteristic portion 20b of bar plug 20 and the opening end of hole 28, and accordingly the fluid in the chamber 6 flows in the chamber 7 through the clearance. In case of changing specifications according to the differential pressure, rating and the kind of fluid, a blind plug 30 is removed from the valve 1 and a certain adjusting tool is inserted in a screw hole 31 to engage its tip with a fitting hole 34 of the plug 20 and turned for adjustment.
