Abstract
PURPOSE:To form the optical NOT circuit with a simple constitution, by using photoelectric conversion element and light emitting element. CONSTITUTION:When the optical beam is applied to the input terminal 1, the photoelectric conversion element 2 connected to it generates the electric signal, which is applied to the driving circuit 3, and the driving circuit 3 is operated so that the next light emitting element 4 is not emitted, and when light beam is not applied to the input terminal 1, the photoelectric conversion element 2 does not generate the electric signal so that the light emitting element 4 is emitted at the driving circuit 3. When the electric signal from the photoelectric conversion element 2 is input to the input terminal 6 of the driving circuit 3, the transistor 7 is on and an output is not fed to the light emitting element 4 from the output terminal 11. If no electric signal is input from the photoelectric conversion element 2 to the input terminal 6, the transistor 7 is off and the output signal is fed to the light emitting element 4 from the output terminal 11.
