Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable high-speed transmission by converting a digital input signal into an AC signal, by picking up the signal via a pulse transformer, and then by outputting it via two switch parts which turn on and off by turns synchronizing with a clock signal. CONSTITUTION:Switch part 41, only when switch part change-over signal 43 outputted from the secondary-side coil of pulse transformer 40 is held at a higher potential than switch part change-over signal 44, turns on. Switch part 42, on the other hand, turns on only when switch change-over signal 44 is held at a higher potential than switch change-over signal 43. As a clock signal is at the high or low potential, switch part 41 switches on or off and switch part 42 switches off or on respectively. Since switch parts 41 and 42 turn on by turns, potentials at output terminals 45 and 46 are balanced differential outputs + or -VO which correspond to high and low levels of data.
