Abstract

The timepiece uses a coil (11) which is already present and is usually provided to perform a function of the timepiece as input signal sensor, transmitting logic information from outside. A detector (13, 14, 15, 16) connected up to the terminals of the coil periodically detects the imbalance produced between the terminals of the coil by the current induced by the input signals and sends an output signal to a decoder (3) analysing this signal and restoring the logic information at its output. The detector and the decoder operate sequentially, so that these circuits have extremely low consumption. <IMAGE>
