Abstract
PURPOSE: To impregnate metallic sulfide into the fine pores and wall of an anodically oxidized film in particular and modify this impregnating material by subjecting Al (alloy) after anodic oxidation treatment to secondary electrolytic treatment in electrolyte consisting essentially of metallic salts of thio-acid then heat-treating the same.
CONSTITUTION: Al or Al alloy is anodized by using an acidic bath of sulfuric acid or the like or an alkali bath of an NaOH or the like. Next, said Al or the like after the anodizing is immersed in an inorganic acid such as nitric acid or phosphoric acid or an org. acid such as oxalic acid and is thereby activated, after which it is subjected to secondary electrolytic treatment in an electrolytic bath consisting essentially of metallic salts of thio-acid in the following manner. Namely, said Al or the like is electrolyzed in the electrolytic bath consisting essentially of thio acid salt of thiomolybdenum etc. and having been controlled to 4W12pH, so that metallic sulfide is deposited on the fine pores of the Al or the like to be treated. Next, the Al or the like in this state is heat-treated by heating systems of one or more kinds of arc heat, induction heating, plasma heating, infrared ray heating or electron beam, whereby the Al or the like is surface treated.
