Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable an effective cooling to meet an energy-saving situation, by a method wherein air is used as a coolant, and the coolant air is cooled with gasification latent heat in a manner to spray liquid thereto or to cause the coolant air to pass through a gauze soaked with water or other liquid.
CONSTITUTION: Air A, which is fed from an arrow mark direction through an inlet 3, having a fan 13, of a cooling chamber 6 in a preliminary cooling condenser 1, makes contact with heat transfer members 4 and a partition 5 for cooling. So cooled air is then exhausted through an outlet 7, and water is sprayed by a high frequency liquid sprayer 21 at an inlet 19 of a coolant chamber 16 in a cooling condenser 2. The cooled air is then fed to the coolant chamber 16, and is prepared into coolant air through further cooling by dint of a gasification latent heat produced resulting from water vaporization. The coolant air makes contact with a heat transfer member 14 and a partition 15 to absorb the heat therefrom. After it is increased in temperature, it is exhausted through an outlet 19. So cooled heat transfer member 14 and partition 15 cools air to be cooled in the room in a manner to make contact with air B.
