Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable cooling operation to be continued on by providing a condenser with an atomizer to be operated at the time of ascending of high pressure, increasing the condenser's radiating capability by utilizing evaporating latent heat of the atomizing liquid drops and lowering the high pressure without stopping the compressor.
CONSTITUTION: When atmospheric temperature ascends or cooling load becomes increased, radiating capability of a condenser 2 becomes insufficient causing high pressure to further rise. And the, a pressure switch 9 detects ascent of the high pressure and operates a ultrasonic atomizer 6. In short, extremely small drops of water atomized by the ultrasonic atomizer 6 are applied to and evaporated by the condenser 2 which was usually operating as an air-cooled type condenser, and evaporating latent heat of the extremely small water drops is utilized for increasing radiating capacity of the condenser 2 so that high pressure can be prevented from further ascending and therefore cooling operation can be continued on.
