Abstract

PURPOSE: To operate a feed water heating system always under optimal conditions, by using the pressure of reheated steam to control the operation pressure of a deaerator in bypassing operation.
CONSTITUTION: A high-pressure bypass valve 5 and a low-temperature bypass valve 6, which are arranged to be capable of short-circuiting the inlet and outlet ports of a high-pressure turbine and a reheating turbine 3, and a deaerator 8, into which steam flows from a reheated steam line in turbine bypassing operation, are provided. In the turbine bypassing operation, the pressure of the reheated steam line is detected by a pressure transmitter 12. A pressure controller 11 and a heated steam regulating valve 9 are controlled by a converted signal for which the pressure of the reheated steam line is used as a parameter, to increase or decrease the quantity of heated steam to the deaerator 8 to regulate its operation pressure.
