Abstract

PURPOSE:To minimize reduction of the air quantity by disposing a blasting speed changing resistor in a bypass which is formed within an air duct of a fan. CONSTITUTION:When a fan controlling switch is turned on, a motor 1b of a fan 1 is driven via a resistor 7 to run the fan 1a. Thereby air sucked from an intake opening 1d is fed through a main course 3 and a bypass 4 towards an evaporator 8. The resistor 7 disposed in the bypass 4 is forcedly cooled to a certain temperature or less to be maintained by air sent by the fan 1a. The bypass 4 which contains the resistor 7 and is laid in parallel with the main passage 3 of the air duct provides the aids for maintaining the required air quantity in the main course 3 and the higher efficiency of an air conditioner.
