Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a molten material to be spouted from being spouted out of a metallic mold by spouting out the material by evacuating a cavity by opening the valve of a evacuation passage extending to a evacuation circuit outside of the metallic mold, and by cutting off the evacuation passage by moving the valve with the inertial force of the molten material extruding from the cavity during the spouting.
CONSTITUTION: When an input is supplied to a solenoid valve controlling hydraulic cylinder 12, cylinder 12 operates to form a vacuum at the head side of evacuation cylinder 10, and the negative pressure is led to cylindrical body 5 via piping 9 to evacuate cavity 2 via by-pass 4 and evacuation passage 3. Then, as a molten material to be spouted is spouted out into cavity 2 to fill cavity 2 with it, the molten material intrudes into evacuation path 3 and collides against valve head 7b of valve 7 with large inertial force. As a result, valve 7 moves up against the elastic force of spring 8 to block the opening end of by-pass with valve head 7. Thus, the molten material to be spouted never sputs out of the metallic mold.
