Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a molten material to be spouted out from being spouted out of a metallic mold, by spouting the molten material after filling cavity with reaction gas from a reaction gas passage with a valve opened, and then by cutting off the reaction gas passage by moving the valve during the spouting by the inertial force of the molten material to be spouted moving from the cavity.
CONSTITUTION: With an input to solenoid valve 13, piping 9 is opened to supply reaction gas from reaction gas supply source 10 into cylindrical body 6 via supply opening 6b and gas flows passed through by-passes 4 joions together via passage 3 and then enters cavity 2. Then, a molten material to be spouted is spouted out into cavity 2 to react upon the reaction gas. The molten material filling cavity 2 moves into passage 3 and collides against valve head 5b of valve 5 with large inertial force. As a result, valve 5 moves up against the elastic force of spring 7 and blocks the opening part of by-passes 4 with the circumferential surface of valve head 5b. Thus, the molten material to be spouted never spouts out of the metallic mold.
