Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively remove gases and odorous substances present in high- viscous liquids by supplying a liquid into a rotary bucket whose periphery is provided with a large number of small holes, installed inside an evacuated cylinder of a given reduced pressure. CONSTITUTION:A liquid containing bubbles and odorous substances is first sucked into a rotary bucket 7 provided inside an evacuated cylinder 1, and then the liquid is beaten against the inner wall of the evacuated cylinder 1 from small holes 11 formed in the periphery of the bucket 7 by means of centrifugal force produced by the rotation of the bucket 7 in order to remove bubbles present in the liquid. The liquid so beaten falls down along the inner wall of the evacuated cylinder in the form of thin film, during which odorous substances present in the liquid are also removed. Thus, bubbles incapable of being released naturally out of high-viscous liquid can be effectively and easily removed.
