Abstract
PURPOSE: To seal up the end of hollow yarn effectively with the aid of an adhesive by a method in which an adhesive is supplied and then a noncuring liquid having a specific gravity smaller than that of the adhesive and noncurability is acted for sealing up the end of hollow yarn module by means of a centrifugal force.
CONSTITUTION: An adhesive is supplied through an adhesive supplying means 3 into a potting case 4 into which the open end of a hollow yarn is housed and then a centrifugal force is applied in such a way as to make the adhesive penetrate into the hollow yarn. Then, a noncuring liquid having a specific gravity smaller than that of the adhesive is supplied onto the upside of the adhesive outside the hollow yarn through the second liquid inlet 15 provided at the center of rotation of a centrifugal binder so as to discharge at least a part of the adhesive outside the hollow yarn by the action of centrifugal force. Whereupon, the level of the liquid is regulated by a liquid level regulating means.
