Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the Ni-Cr-Fe alloy with excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance at a high temp. of 900°C or more wherein C, Ni, Cr, Al, Ti, Y, Si, Mn are contained in a predetermined ratio respectively and a content of P, S and Cu is limited.
CONSTITUTION: The Ni-Cr-Fe alloy consists of, in a wt% basis, 40.0W45.0 Ni, 0.15W0.60 Cr, 0.75W1.5 Al, 0.15W0.60 Ti, 0.75W1.50 Y, 0.75W2.0 Si, 0.50W 1.50 Mn and the remainder of Fe. Further, it is a necessary condition that P in said alloy is limited, in a wt% basis, to 0.03% or less, S to 0.015% or less and Cu to 0.75% or less respectively. Said Ni-Cr-Fe alloy has good thin plate workability and weldability other than above described properties.
