Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the amplitude fluctuation of a carrier signal to be surely detected and measured by detecting the peak value of the amplitude of the carrier signal, extracting in amplitude fluctuation component from the carrier signal and detecting the peak value thereof. CONSTITUTION:The carrier signal S1 of a measuring target is inputted via an input amplifier 1 to a peak-to-peak detector 2. On the other hand, the envelope detecting output of an envelope detector 3 is inputted to a band-pass filter 5, the amplitude fluctuation component extracted by which is inputted to a peak-to-peak detector 6. In an operator 4, the ratio between the peak-to-peak value detection signal of the modulating carrier signal applied from the detector 2 and the peak-to-peak value detection signal of the amplitude fluctuating component applied from the detector 6 is operated and an envelope fluctuation rate is calculated. This is then displayed in a display device 7. Thereby, the amplitude fluctuations of the carrier signal are made quantitative as envelope fluctuation rate and displayed as measured data.
