Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable detection of the condition of dust clogging a gas sampler pipeline which samples a coarse gas containing dust to be introduced to an analyzer, by determining a pressure value in a sample gas pressure charged piping. CONSTITUTION:A gas containing dust such as a gas 1 in a blast furnace is sampled and the gas sampled is introduced to a gas analyzer 7 through a dust removing filter 5 and a sample gas pressure charged piping 6 to detect the condition of dust clogging a gas sampler. In other words a pressure in the sample gas pressure charged piping 6 after the start of charging a pressure rises gradually and finally, equals the pressure such as that in the blast furnace to complete the charging of the pressure. A pressure ascension curve obtained here varies depending on the dust clogging condition of the pipeline from a gas sampling point to the pressure charged piping 6. The pressure rising speed decreases as the clogging with dust progresses, which inevitably prolongs the time to complete the charging of pressure. Thus, conversely, the dust clogging condition of the pipeline in the upstream side can be detected by checking a shift of pressure in the pressure charged piping after the start of charging pressure with a pressure sensor 9.
