Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out gas analysis simply, speedily and at low cost by passing a carrier gas through a gas detecting part and making gases contact with a gas detector side.
CONSTITUTION: Sample oil 2 is contained in a bottle 1, a pipe 3 whose one end is inserted into the sample oil 2 is extended outside the bottle 1 passing through a desicating agent chamber 4 and the other end of the pipe is opened to the outside of the bottle. Another pipe 3' whose one end opens in the upper vacant space of the bottle 1 is extended outside the bottle, passes a gas detecing part 5 which contains a gas detecting material 5', and the other end of the pipe is connected to a suction pump 6. When the suction pump 6 is started, air (or nitrogen) which passed through the desicating agent appropriately is introduced into the sample oil 2 as a carrier gas, substitutes gases dissolved in the sample oil 2 and, accompanying these gases, contacts the gas detecting material 5' in the gas detecting part 5.
