Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The hollow coated agent of grain sizes 0.1W3mm, low bulk density 0.3W0.6g/cm3 suited for the coated casting agent at the bottom pouring ingot making which comprises using 15W60pts.wt. of the amorphous spherical bodies of SHIRASU (Japanese sand of casting) pearlite containing 6% or more of alkali metal oxides as nuclear base materials, and coating 0.1W20pts.wt. range of vitrification accelerator such as Ba oxide, 10W60pts.wt. of basicity controller such as calcium carbonate, 3W20pts.wt. of one or more kinds of melting temperature controller such as sodium carbonate and slag viscosity controller and 0.1W20pts.wt. of one or more kinds of melting rate controller on their particle surfaces.
