Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify circuit constitution and perform reproducing without lack in recording contents at the leading edge and the trailing edge, by combining logical operation circuits to detect the coincidence between an output of a counter and that of a memory circuit. CONSTITUTION:A fixed number of pulses is output from rotation detector 4 each time supply reel 1 is rotated once, and these pulses are given to U/D counter circuit 5. Count data from circuit 5 is stpoed in circuits 11 and 12. Count data from circuit 5 and output data from circuits 11 and 12 are given to coincidence detecting circuit 20, and the coincidence start time and the coincidence end time in the coincidence time are selected according to the direction of tape running, and a coincidence signal is output at these selected times. When (n) and (m) are stored in memory circuits 11 and 12, the tape is reproduced repeatedly from the switching position from n-1 to (n) to the switching position from (m) to M+1, and thus, a part of recording contents at the leading edge and the trailing edge is not lacking.
