Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect precisely in a short time a trouble in a double system automatic voltage regulator, by detecting values for samples of a respective output of the double system automatic voltage regulator and an output of a generator by means of time sharing and comparing them with the values of samples detected after a fixed duration of time. CONSTITUTION:Transducers 311-313 detect respectively an output of a generator and the first and the second channel gate pulse oscillators 12, 22. A sampling detector 32 samples the output of the transducer 311-313 at a set time interval and gives them to a memory device 33. A comparator 34 detects if any deviation exists between the values detected and the values formerly detected for the samples, and a trouble discriminating circuit 35 discriminates in which channel of the double system automatic voltage regulator a trouble has occurred by means of the outputs of the comparator 34.
