Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of both the status signal and the position detecting pulse and at the same time realize a reduction of cost, by generating a status signal by the first raster light and then a pulse signal that detects the rater position by the subsequent rater light respectively. CONSTITUTION:With an input of the first pusle a1 that is generated when the first raster 1a is detected by the optical guide 2, the gate 14 is closed to generate the status signal D through the output terminal 9. With an input of the pulse a2 generated by the second raster 1b, the pulse signal E for detection of position is generated at the output terminal 8. After this, the gate 13 is closed by the fall of the pulse a2, and the gates 13 and 14 are kept closed even with an input of the signal at the next field. Thus the signal D and the signal E are used for a status signal and a pulse signal to detect the raster position respectively. As a result, the function of a light pen is obtained.
