Abstract
PURPOSE:To separate an opened filament group from a liquid efficiently and wind the filament group around a spindle stably, by means of a fluid-permeable body provided after the spindle. CONSTITUTION:A multifilament yarn 2 having substantially no twist is delivered positively at a higher speed than the surface speed of a spindle 7, jetted with a high-speed fluid 24 from a nozzle 20 and made to collide with a collision plate 27 consisting of a plane, curved surface or a combination thereof before the nozzle 20. The fluid 24 is then made to slide on a guide plate 28 while being diffused, and fed to a fluid-permeable body 29 provided after the spindle 7 to permeate only the fluid 24. The remaining continuous filament yarn 2 is wound around the spindle 7 efficiently and then withdrawn to give a yarn like a spun yarn.
