CONSTITUTION:Outputs of running distance sensor 5 and fuel sensor 7 are divided by divider 9, and an average value is calculated on the basis of N of maximum fuel consumption rates by average value calculating circuit 15a in signal processing part 2, and an average value is calculated on the basis of N minimum fuel consumption rates by average value calculating circuit 15b. In operating part 3, the output of fuel residual quantity sensor 18 which is subjected to A-D conversion by A-D converter 19 and the output of average value calculating circuit 15a are multiplied by multiplying circuit 16a to calculate a minimum runnable distance, and the output of average value calculating circuit 15b and the output of sensor 18 are multiplied by multiplying circuit 16b to calculate a maximum runnable distance, and these distances are stored in data latches 17a and 17b, respectively.
