Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the reflecting rate of solar beams in a wave length side shorter than 2.0μm and improve the absorption characteristics of the selective absorption surface for the solar heat collector by a method wherein a black oxidizing treatment film (film or chrome oxide) containing silicon oxide is formed on the surface of a stainless steel plate.
CONSTITUTION: Fine irregularity, effective for preventing reflection of the solar beams, is formed on the surface of the stainless plate by chloride ion and a silicon compound is adhered on the surface further by a method wherein the stainless steel plate is dipped into chloric acid solution, thereafter, either the silicon compound is adhered on the surface thereof or the plate is dipped into chloric acid solution containing the silicon compound. When the plate in this condition is dipped into chromic acid-sulfuric acid solution, the silicon compound is oxidized and becomes silicon oxide and the black oxiding treatment film consisting of the chrome oxide mainly is formed. According to this method, the reflection of a light beam having the wave length of the solar beam is regulated and reduced by the above-described oxide film, that means to reduce the reflecting rate of the beam in the wave length side shorter than 2.0μm, thereby enabling to improve the absorption characteristics of the selective absorption surface.
