Abstract
PURPOSE:To prove the rise of a current of a power source when the power source is thrown by connecting an impedance compensating circuit to an intermediate tap in the vicinity of the primary winding of an inverter transformer. CONSTITUTION:An impedance compensating circuit 2 having equivalent function to a DC power source E is provided in the vicinity of the primary winding of an inverter transformer IT to inhibit the operation of an inverter control circuit 1 until the voltage of the circuit 2 reaches a voltage approximately equivalent to the voltage from the power source E and to drive SCR1 and SCR2 when the voltage of the circuit 2 becomes a sufficient value. Since the large current flowing when the inverter is started is divided via the DC power source and the compensating circuit and applied from both, it can suppress the surge current of the DC power source, prevent the consumption of the charge of the power source, and prevent the erroneous operation of the control circuit including the thyristors.
