CONSTITUTION:The developer supplying means is composed of bulkhead plate 6 trailing toward container bottom plate 12 with the upper side fixed to the internal surface of upper plate 11 of the lower half container and forming gap opening 8 between the lower side and container bottom plate 12, and developer-supplying rotary roller 7 arranged near gap opening 8 to block the opening. Supplying rotary roller 7 normally stops and, once driven, supplies stored toner T, bit by bit, to space side 9 via opening 8. Driving roller 7 is so controlled that the amount of supply toner will be large enough to secure the free surface of developer T2 in the space all the time.
