Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain an amount of toner on a roller always appropriate, by providing a mesh blade for recovering unused toner attached to the peripheral position of the developing fur brush roller after forming a toner image. CONSTITUTION:A developing fur brush roller 21 with a part of this kept in contact with a photoreceptor 1 surface is placed in a developing vessel 19 connected to a toner container 20, and the roller 21 is rotated in the arrow direction. A toner feeding roller 22 for feeding nonmagnetic dry-type toner particles (a) into the vessel 19 is provided near the toner feed opening 20a of the container 20, and the surface of this roller 22 is provided with a brush and rotates in the arrow direction. A member 23 for controlling an amount of toner is installed near the top of the roller 22, and a mesh blade for recovering the toner is fixed near the brush 21a of the roller 21.
