Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize the reduction of a cost and the miniaturization of a device, by supplying a toner of a quantity defined by a metering recessed part provided at a metering shaft to a developer case by the rotation of the metering shaft provided at the aperture part of a toner hopper. CONSTITUTION:The toner hopper 25 is provided with the aperture part 36 opened to the developer case 21 at its lower part, and the metering shaft 38 is arranged between a pair of aperture wall planes 37 in a state where the peripheral plane of it is adhered closely. On the metering shaft 38, the metering recessed part 39 consisting of a V-shaped groove is formed at the peripheral plane of the shaft, and it is always position-controlled so as to stay facing with the toner hopper 25, and it rotates as bringing its peripheral plane into contact with the aperture wall plane 37 at the time of rotation. And the toner of a quantity equivalent to that of the metering recessed part 39 is supplied to the developer case 21 at every rotation of the metering shaft 38. In such a way, it is possible to replenish the toner to the developer case 2 with simple constitution.
