Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to simultaneously and continuously measure O2 and combustible gas with high accuracy and good response, by providing an oxygen concentration detecting element, a combustible gas detecting element and a dust removing filter in a protective tube, and by inserting them into a combustion furnace directly. CONSTITUTION:A solid electrolytic oxygen concentration detecting element 2, an insulating material 4, a heater 3 and a supporting body 5 are provided in a protective tube 1 made of thermal-resistance steel, etc. And a combustible gas detecting element (a semiconductor element may better be used) 6 is supported by a supporting tube 7 and inserted with the insulating material 4 into a gas flow passage 8 to be located closer to exhaust gas inlet side than the detecting element 2. And a dust removing filter 9 which is provided on gas flow side, a gas impinging board 10 which is provided for preventing dust from hitting the filter 9 directly, and a gas collecting container 11 which surrounds the filter 9 and a gas collecting container 11 which surrounds the filter 9 and the board 10 are joined together into one continuous body by a bonding agent 12 and attached onto tip of the tube 1 by a screw. Exhaust gas enters a flow inlet 14, a part of w hich gets into the tube 1 from the filter 9 and out from an outlet 16, and remainder of which departs from an outlet 15 of the container.
