Abstract
PURPOSE:To miniaturize an alcohol sensor and enable it to accurately detect alcohol concentration by placing it at an angle so that bubbles are prevented from collecting. CONSTITUTION:Following a filter element 2 in a passage 1 connecting a fuel tank and a fuel feed apparatus, an electrostatic capacity means 3 as an alcohol sensor is provided at an angle with respect to the flow of an alcohol mixed fuel. Making the inclination angle more than approximately 15 degrees increases the region where no bubbles collect in the electrostatic capacity means 3, so that detection can be performed highly accurately.
