Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a photoelectric conversion face by coating a mesh with a metal having higher vapor pressure than that of copper alloy or a metal less alloyable than copper, thereby preventing the evaporation of copper alloy which influences on the photoelectric conversion face. CONSTITUTION:An electron beam 5 produced from a cathode 1 is accelerated by an acceleration electrode 2 and scans on a photoelectric conversion face 3. A mesh 4 is provided for the purpose to perform the uniform scanning of the electron beam 5 on the photoelectric conversion face 3. The mesh 4 is coated with a metal having higher vapor pressure than a copper alloy or a metal less alloyable than copper.
