Abstract

PURPOSE:To effect induction and discharging of fluid such as slurry to be transported in a reliable manner, by providing piston type fluid drawing and discharging valves in fluid induction and discharging pipes, and opening and closing these valves along with reciprocal movement of a main shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a main shaft 1 is moved to the right, fluid to be transported is drawn into a secondary chamber 6a on the left side, and at the same time, a secondary chamber 6b of a diaphragm pump on the right side is compressed, so that the fluid is discharged to the outside from a conduit 36b. Compressed air supplied from a compressed air source 10 expands a primary chamber 5b but contracts a primary chamber 5a. Pressure supplied from a passage 22a is applied to a pilot pressure inlet port 18 of a directional control valve 7. Resultantly, a left inlet valve 37a and a right outlet valve 38b are opened, but a left outlet valve 38a and a right inlet valve 37a are closed. When the main shaft 1 comes to the extreme end on the right, a spool 25 in a pilot cotrol valve 8 is moved to the right and the fluid passage is reversed.
