CONSTITUTION:To vertical deflection coils 161, 162, horizontal deflection coils 181, 182 are provided through a coil spacer 17, and a pair of magnetic materials 191, 192 are provided in such a manner that a part of the vertical deflection coils 161, 162 and/or annular cores 151, 152 are coated along the direction of a tube axis and outer circumferential direction. The vertical deflection coils 161, 162 produce a barrel distortion vertical deflection magnetic field while a pair of the horizontal deflection coils 181, 182 generate a pincushion-distortion horizontal deflection magnetic field, then a pair of the magnetic materials 191, 192 absorb magnetic flux leakage from the vertical deflection coils 161, 162 to shift the barrel distortion vertical deflection magnetic field toward a direction of the pincushion-distortion vertical deflection magnetic field.
