Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct difference of radiographing conditions, by using reference signal S indicating radiographing conditions to modulate a reading laser light and by inputting the light to a photodetector and by setting the gain of the read system so that the signal may be a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A part of laser light 2 emitted from laser light source 1 is taken out to A/O light modulator 9 through half mirror 10 and so on. A/O modulator 9 is controlled according to conditions for radiographing by reference signal S from reference signal setting equipment 12, and the light quantity of laser light 2 is controlled and is led to photodetector 6 such as a photomultiplier. The output signal from photomultiplier 6 is converted to a voltage by voltage converting circuit 14 and is sent to comparing circuit 17 and is compared with the reference voltage from reference voltage setting circuit 16, and high-voltage power source 13 is so adjusted that they may agree with each other, and the gain of photomultiplier 6 is set. By this constitution, since read of radiation picture information is operated after previous set, difference of conditions for radiographing can be corrected.
