Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise an initial reaction and to improve a physical quality by a method wherein in a cure process in a mold forming of polyurethane foam, a super heated nonsaturating steam obtained from heating under a special condition is used as a heating means.
CONSTITUTION: A superheated nonsaturated steam which is obtained from by heating in 120W200°C once more the saturated or nonsaturated steam obtained from heating in 60W100°C is used as a heating means in a cure process in a molding of polyurethane foam.
EFFECT: A heat source having a high energy and a lower temperature can be obtained, and a rapid uniform heating of a mold is implemented and further, a temperature within a mold is made to follow an internal heat generating temperature during a foaming process, thus, reducing a cure time. Further, difference of a heating temperature rising at a mold inclined thick part is reduced, and energy consumption is reduced as well as a heat deformation due to lowerness of a heat hysteresis level of a metallic mold is reduced.
