PURPOSE:To decrease the number of circuits and also execute classification processing at a high speed, by arranging classification cells in plural rows which output the input nemerical values after rearranging said values in order of size, and obtaining the outputs whose arranging has been changed in order of size. CONSTITUTION:The classification cells 11-16 output two numerical value which have been input, in order, for instance, the cell 11 compares the numerical values which are input from the input signal lines 1001, 1002, and outputs smaller value and larger value to the output signal line 1011 and the output signal line 1012, respectively. The classification cells 21-215 input 2 pairs of two numerical values which have been arranged in order, and output these four numerical values in accordance with the order. For instance, the cell 21 inputs the numerical values from the input signal lines 1011-1014, compares these four numerical values, and outputs them from the smallest value in order, making them correspond to the output signal lines 2011-2014. In this way, the numerical values which have been provided from the input signal lines 1001-10012 are rearranged in order of size, and are output to the output signal lines 2001-20012 from the smallest numerical value in order.
