Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out deflation of an expanded gas bag promptly and positively, by deflating the gas bag through indirect application of air pressure to the bag from the outside thereof.
CONSTITUTION: An expanded gas bag 6 to be deflated is placed in an inner bag 1 made of a soft, resilient material such as rubber coated fabric, with its air ports 7 being kept open, and then air is forced into an outer case 2 from an air inlet port 5 by a means such as air pump capable of feeding air under pressure. Thus, since both of the inner bag 1 and the air bag 6 are deflated by removing gas in the bag 6 placed in the outer case 2 together with the inner bag 1 from the air outlet ports 7, deflation of the bag 6 can be carried out in a prompt and reliable manner.
