Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain high reliability for mounting in satellites by eliminating input switches and comparing noise sources thereby simplifying constitution. CONSTITUTION:Along with the rotation of a phase plate 10, the signal by a signal beam 14 for observation and the signal by a comparing signal beam 15 enter a radio receiver amplifier 4 alternately, and are applied to a square-law detector 5. The output of the detector 5 is controlled by the output of an oscillator which oscillates square waves by detecting the rotation of the phase plate. Further, it passes through a synchronizing detector 6 and enters an integrator 7, by which it is integrated and the mean integrated output has no relation to the equivalent noise temp. of the radio receiver. Namely, the signal by the signal beam 14 for observation and the signal by the comparing signal beam 15 are alternately sent from the antenna part along with the rotation of the phase plate 10 and therefore, there is no need for input switches and comparing noise sources.
