Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out to detecting abnormality of a rotary system by monitoring a differential value of a shaft rotation number of a rotary motor and a difference signal of a rotation number of the shaft and a loading rotor.
CONSTITUTION: A rotation number of the output shaft 1a of the motor 1 is detected in a detecting part 3 of the shaft rotation number and, on the other hand, a rotary number of the loading rotor 2 is detected in a detecting part 4 of the rotor rotation number. The output signals of both detecting parts 3, 4 are introduced to a signal treating part 5. At first, the signal of the detecting part 3 of the shaft rotation number is differentiated and the obtained differential value is compared to a preliminary set value and, when said value exceeds said set value, an alarm is sounded. Further, a difference signal of the shaft rotation number and the loading rotation number is compared to an other set value and, when said signal exceeds said set value, an alarm is sounded. By this method, even in case of a centrifugal separator frequency carrying out the attachment and the detachment of the motor and the loading rotor, abnormality can be immediately detected.
