Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently manufacture a rigid trolley of high electric conductivity and composite metal connection type, which is used for a subway or the like, by welding a rigid shaped material such as aluminum or aluminum alloy with a thin hard band of iron or iron alloy metallically bonded with a metal of high electric conductivity.
CONSTITUTION: A strong force for pressure welding is applied to the recessed side 1a' of a band 1 so that the band 1 and another material 2 are metallically bonded on each other firmly. A shaped material 10 of different metals densely combined with each other is thus produced. A rigid shaped material of large size is produced separately from the combined shaped metal material 10 of small size. The material of large size is shaped almost as I by the die of an aluminum extruder so that the shaped material gets enough flexural rigidity itself, a flat surface 21 is provided on one side of the material and gradient surfaces 22, 22 are provided at both the sides of the flat surface 21. The combined shaped metal material 10 of small size and rigid shaped material 20 of large size are placed in parallel with each other so that their surfaces are in contact with each other. The materials 10, 20 are continuously welded on each other by a welder.
