Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of bright spots when the power supply switch is turned off, by connecting a serial circuit of the capacity and the resistance having a large time constant to a cathode circuit. CONSTITUTION:The DC component reproduced through the DC reproducing circuit 5 is applied to the cathode of the cathode-ray tube 24. At the same time, the flyback pulse FBP is applied to the cathode via the diodes 14 and 15, the load resistance 13 and the peaking coil 12. The time constant circuit 18 consisting of a serial circuit of the resistance 19 and the capacity 20 is connected to the point of junction between the resistance 13 and the diode 15. In such constitution, the potential of the cathode is kept at the cut-off voltage when the power supply switch is turned off. Accordingly no bright spot is produced.
