Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure the repetitive start and stop for the bubble transfer with no impairment of the magnetic field margin by giving a control to the switching element of the rotary magnetic field generating coil so that the ON-time may be longer at the stopping time than the constant operation time.
CONSTITUTION: The driving circuit, comprising transistors Tr11W14 functioning as the switching elements, diodes 21W24 and stop time control circuit 15 and others, can obtain the triangular wave current (c) for rotary magnetic field generating X coil 1. Circuit 15 operates only when the final ON-gate signal arrives at the stop time to supply ON-gate signal (a) featuring the time duration about double the time duration of the steady time to the base of Tr11 and 14. As a result, the time during which the DC voltage is applied to X coil 1 is increased, and the current increases furthermore linearly to feature the peak value about double the steady time. After the OFF of Tr11 and 14, the current decreases linearly to be finally the forward triangular current waveform (c) of about double the steady time. At the same time, the magnetic bubble transferred at the stop time has a high tance to the X direction and is also attracted in that direction for a long time, thus eliminating the lag.
