Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a power amplifier which generates no shock sound when a power source is put to work, by providing a delay circuit.
CONSTITUTION: Since the potential of a capacitor C2 is low when a power source is put to work, a transistor (TR) Q22 operates to lower the base potential of a TRQ12 below that of a TRQ23, and the TRQ12 turns off. Then, TRs Q20 and Q21 are current supply circuits which supply currents to the capacitors C1 and C2, and the C2 is charged with a higher bias voltage than that of the C1. As the C2 is charged, a TRQ3 operates and TRs Q5 and Q6, and Q13 and Q14 start operating. As the C2 is charged, on the other hand, the emitter potential of the TRQ22 rises, so the TRQ12 starts operating to supply a current from a TRQ11. Since the TRs Q13 and Q14 perform the by-passing of the current supplied from the TRQ11 to the earth, neither TRQ16 nor Q17 operates and an output terminal D rises in potential. Therefore, no shock sound is generated.
