PURPOSE:To detect the position of a moving body surely at the boundary part of addresses as well by arranging plural crossing pairs by shifting their crossing parts in such a manner that they do not cross simultaneously at the same position. CONSTITUTION:Multipair parallel lines 10 used for a system for detecting the position of moving bodies consist of a transmission pair 12 serving also as a reference pair and 1st-n-th pairs of plural crossing pairs 141, 142...14n. The transmission pair 12 is connected to a transmitter 18 via a transformer 16, and the plural crossing pairs 141, 142...14n are connected to the output terminals via transformers 201, 202... 20n and resistances 221, 222...22n, respectively. The output terminals thereof are connected to a discriminating circuit. The crossing parts 151, 152...15n are so arranged by being shifted in such a manner than the plural crossing pairs 141, 142... 14n do not cross simultaneously in the same place.
