Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the reliability in the control for running on branching paths, by flowing the current of one kind of frequency to each inducing path and by arranging branching path detectors in both sides of the car besides the center detector for general running in both sides of the center detector. CONSTITUTION:As detectors 1 which detect the magnetic field from the inducing line in the side of a induced car 10, detectors 1l and 1r for detection of branching paths are arranged in both sides of the center detector 1m besides the center detector 1m for general running. Relations among detection signals from these detectors 1m, 1l and 1r are compared to detect presence or absence of a branching paths, and a corresponding detector out of branch detectors 3 is selected on a basis of the branch command, which is set preliminarily, by this detection signal, and the output of this selected detector is used as the command for a steering servomotor control circuit 5. Thus, the unattended induced car 10 is guided to the instructed branching path, and thereafter, the detector is switched to the detector 1m to transfer the control to general running.
