Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate detection failure in boundaries between blocks by emitting signals alternately from plural antennas having prescribed internals of a moving object to plural receiving lines of different configurations of receivable parts and disable parts of each block. CONSTITUTION:The signals from the oscillator 3 of a moving object are alternately applied to antennas 41, 42 disposed at a prescribed spacing L by a selecting switch 5. The plural signal lines laid along the moving route of the moving object have receivable parts and disable parts for each block, of which the configuration sequence differs. For example, the receivable of each block of 5 pieces of receiving lines #1-#5 is defined as 1 and disable as 0, and these are set as shown in the figure. Also, these are so set that the combinations of the 1s and 0s of the respective blocks a-j differ. If there are the antennas within l of a detection disable zone 7, a signal (11100) is detected by a receiver, and the block detection is disabled, but if it is made L>l, the correct block is decided from the signal when the switch is changed over to at least either one of the antennas. Thereby, the moving object in the boundary part of the blocks is detected surely.
