Abstract

PURPOSE:To accomplish a circuit in which the installation cost is not increased even if the number of terminal devices is increased and the extension of coaxial cable and high speed signal transmission can be made possible, by connecting a transmission and reception circuit including pulse transformers in multidrop to the coaxial cable. CONSTITUTION:To a coaxial cable 18 of bus construction providing a termination resistance 17 for impedance matching at the both sides, a pulse signal transmission and reception circuit 3 is in multidrop connection to an arbitrary position, independently of a terminal controller 1 or terminal controller 2. Further, the said transmission and reception circuit 3 provides a pulse transformer 15 having large inductance, transmission and reception circuit to increase the input impedance, and power supply source POW P via a switch 19. For example, a circuit as shown in Figure, is used, and a transmission data is inputted from an input line 21 to perform signal transmission via a phase separation circuit 20, and a reception data is obtained on an output line 24 via a dual sense amplifier 10 and a sampling circuit 23 at the reception.
