Abstract

914,838. Two-way transmissions. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. May 18, 1961 [May 21, 1960], No. 18168/61. Class 40 (4). A hybrid transformer circuit comprises a transformer 10 having two identical secondary windings 15 and 16 connected in opposite arms of a bridge circuit, the other arms of which are formed by resistors 18 and 19 matching the characteristic impedance of the lines feeding the two loads 13 and 14 which are each connected across a diagonal of the bridge. The transformer ratio is chosen to match the loads 13 and 14 to the generator 11.
